Q: What is Pout Case?

A: Pout Case is the world’s first phone makeup case designed for Iphone and Samsung phones. Produced with environmentally friendly, cruelty-free, Pout Case is the ideal solution for women and men on-the-go; its streamlined design fits into the smallest spaces so you can always have your makeup and mirror close by.

Q: How do I use the case? / How does the case fit onto my phone? / Is it easy to use?

A: It’s so easy. Once you take the case out from its packaging, simply slot your phone in. Slide down the back of the case, whilst keeping the phone screen looking towards you and you’ll find a palette with three or four empty spaces to slot in the makeup you ordered with your case.

Q: Can I choose the makeup in different colours? / Is there a choice of makeup available? / How do I know the foundation shades will suit my skin tone?

A: A: We are continuously developing new shades and formulas to add to our collection. At the current time, you can choose from ten lipstick, three highlighters and concealers, five eyeshadows, one eyeliner and thirteen foundation shades. We also have two lip balm to compliment the lip colours. Our foundations are formulated with sheer, dewy textures and work with many skin tones.

Q: I have allergies, what is your makeup made out of? / My skin is prone to irritation, can I wear your makeup? / Is your makeup suitable for sensitive skin? / What does ECARF mean?

A: Our makeup is ECARF certified (European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation) and their strict criteria, developed by leading international scientists and technicians, mean that any allergic reactions are highly unlikely. However, if your skin is reactive, we advise you to check the ingredients list on our products before using them. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients or have a reaction, please stop using the makeup immediately and let us know.

Q: Where is your makeup produced and is it cruelty free? / I don’t use makeup tested on animals, can I use Pout Case? / Do you test on animals?

A: Our makeup is made in Germany and Italy and is 100% cruelty free. We don’t test on animals.

Q: How do I apply the makeup? / Is there a brush in the case? / Does it have a mirror inside?

A: You can apply the makeup with your fingers, or if you prefer, use our brush. There is also a mirror that you can purchase separately – Pout Case has been designed so you can use it alongside the mirror or the camera on your phone – simply slide open the drawer, select the camera app and reverse the lens so you can see yourself on the screen.

Q: Can I replace the makeup? / If I want to change the shades, can I buy more? / Can I have three lip colours instead of a foundation for example?

A: The makeup is meant to be replaceable and changeable. You can select different shades and formulas on our site and switch them out depending on your preference. We will continuously and constantly increase the choice of shades available – sign up to our newsletter for updates.

Q: My phone gets hot, will it melt the makeup? / If I take it on holiday, will the makeup melt? / Is the makeup heat proof?

A: Our tests show that the heat from your phone will not affect the makeup. However, if the makeup tray is left open under direct sun exposure and in extremely high temperatures (45°C for foundation and 50°C for the lipsticks) the makeup will melt. This is typical for any makeup you use.

Q: When will new makeup products be available? / Will there be any other products apart from your current range?

A: Our product development team are always working on new formulas, new makeup components and new ways in which to create the best experience for our customers. As we’re a start-up, at the moment our selection is small but we’ve selected shades we feel work with and flatter many skin tones and are always developing more. If you’ve bought a product from us, or signed up for our newsletter, we will notify you when we get new products in stock.

Q: Can I get makeup samples? / I’m not sure your foundation shades will suit me, can I try it first? / Can I get a refund if the shades don’t suit me?

A: We hope you like the shades you’ve selected for your Pout Case. Though we’re not able to offer refunds or exchanges, from time to time, we do offer samples on our site as part of a promotion. Please sign up to our newsletter to get notifications of these promotions.

Q: Why does the case only fit an iPhone and Samsung? Will there be more cases for other types of phones?

A: We will soon be catering for other phone brands too. Please sign up to our newsletter to get notifications.

Q: Can I personalise the case? / Will you be doing collaborations with other brands? / Will there be cases in other colours and designs?

A: Not at the moment but it’s something we’re working on and we hope to be able to offer personalisation of our cases, as well as other colour options on our site soon. You are of course, welcome to personalise the case after purchasing with us, however, please note at your own risk.

Q: Will the case protect the phone from breaking? / Will it protect my phone? / If I drop my phone, will the case break? / Is the case smash-proof? / What is the case made of?

A: The case is made of shock absorbing, scratch resistant materials and will provide protection for the back and sides of your phone. For full protection we advise you to buy glass screen protectors separately.

Q: Can I use the case under water? / Is the case waterproof? / If I get the case wet, will it affect the makeup?

A: The case itself is safe to use under water, however the makeup may not be and we don’t advise using it in the water.

Q: Can I replace the Pout Case makeup with my own? / Can I store my own makeup in the palette? / Would other brands of makeup fit in the case?

A: We would not advise you to use Pout Case with any other makeup, as you run the risk of damaging the case or the slots for the makeup. Pout Case has been carefully designed and produced in order to provide the best experience to our customers as possible.

A: Yes, we offer International Shipping and deliver to almost all of the countries. However, if you live in a country where we don’t deliver, we can still sell you our product, though we may require you to arrange your own logistics. Please contact us for more information at help@poutcase.com

Q: My case is broken, can I replace it? / What if my case breaks, will I get a refund? / How long will the case last?

A: Your case comes with a one year guarantee. If the product was defective when you received it, we will happily replace this for you free of charge. Please find more information in the returns sections on our site.
Normal wear and tear, misuse of the case, accidental or purposeful damage is not covered by this guarantee.

Q: Do your prices include VAT?

A: Yes, our prices include VAT.

Q: How do you calculate your exchange rates?

A: If you are paying in a currency not advertised on our site, your bank is likely to exchange the amount to your home currency at their rate. We will receive the amount in the currency published on the site, and we do not take responsibility for charges or exchange rates that your bank may offer.
